Privacy Policy

Rokyn Consulting Limited collects the minimum needed to answer an enquiry. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no mailing list.

Who we are

Rokyn Consulting Limited, registered in England & Wales, company number 14027831. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for information collected through this website. Contact: info@rokyn.co.

What we collect

Contact form. When you submit an enquiry we collect the name, email address, organization, phone number, message, and engagement interest you provide. Only name, email, and message are required; the rest are optional and may be left blank.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data including IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is used for security and diagnostics.

Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not a cookie.

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, social media embeds, or tracking cookies of any kind.

Why we collect it

Enquiry details are processed on the basis of legitimate interest — you contacted us and expect a reply. Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available. We do not rely on consent, because we do not do anything with your data that would require it.

Who has access

Enquiries are read by Ralph Webster. There is no intake team, no CRM integration, and no sales list.

The following processors handle data on our behalf:

  • Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting, database, and serverless functions. Enquiry data is stored in the European Union (multi-region eur3) and processed in London (europe-west2).
  • Google Workspace — delivers the notification email for each enquiry.

Typefaces are served from this domain rather than a third-party font service, so loading a page does not transmit your IP address to anyone other than our host.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share it with anyone outside the processors listed above.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for three years from last contact, then deleted. Enquiries that do not lead to a conversation are deleted within twelve months. Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's default, currently thirty days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccuracies, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Email info@rokyn.co and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest. Database access is restricted by security rules that deny access by default. Credentials are held in a secrets manager rather than in code. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the update date at the top of this page. This version supersedes all previous versions.
